Happy New Year from Dr. J. Michael Conkright
I hope that you are having a wonderful beginning to the New Year. We here at Conkright Aesthetics are always looking for new ways to better serve our patients and to stay up to date with all the latest data, technology, and research. I’m happy to tell you that breast implant surgery continues to improve and that plastic surgery community continues to provide the latest information and implant medicine.
It is certainly not mandatory that implant patients receive routine follow-ups. I understand, however, that many times our patients have questions and would appreciate assurance that they are doing well. It is an unfortunate fact of life that over time our breasts change. This may be because of pregnancy, weight loss or gain, or menopause. It is also important to screen for implant rupture, capsular contracture, and or fluid accumulation around the implant. With that in mind I’d like to take this opportunity to offer you an assessment in our office. This would consist of a short consultation with is concerning your current status and a brief exam if you so desire. This is not meant to take the place of your breast health care which still should be provided by your primary care physician and/or obstetrician gynecologist.
I invite you to call our office to schedule a short update and assessment review with me and my staff. There will be a small $100 administrative fee. In the event that further services are necessary or requested, we will be happy to apply said fee toward that. As always, if you have any questions please contact us at 812-842-0240. There is also information on the website of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons web site, http://www.plasticsurgery.org. We look forward to seeing you soon.
