Custom facials can address a variety of needs ranging from premature aging and environmental damage to acne flare-ups to a dull and patchy complexion. When it comes to our skin, sometimes it’s tough to face the facts. If your less-than-perfect complexion is causing you stress and could use a pick-me-up, you may want to consider booking a custom facial.

Dermaplaning Facial

Dermaplaning is a skin resurfacing procedure that people use to give the skin a smoother, more youthful and radiant appearance. It uses a blade to remove the top layer of the skin. As well as smoothing skin and removing “peach fuzz,” dermaplaning can help with acne scars, dry skin, sun-damaged skin, and small wrinkles.

Microblading is a cosmetic tattooing procedure that fills in thin eyebrow areas to make them look fuller. Unlike a traditional tattoo, which is permanent, the coloring from microblading may last for up to 3 years.  Microblading uses different tools and a smaller amount of pigment. Our esthetician uses a microblade tool to apply color pigments that look like real hairs. The color effect will fade over time, so touch-ups may be necessary to maintain the desired look. Microblading offers natural looking and defined eyebrows.

Electrolysis is the only permanant form of hair removal. Electrolysis involves inserting a needle into your skin. An electrical current passes through it, which heats up the tissue surrounding the hair follicle. This damages the follicle, destroys the growth center of the hair, then the hair is removed with tweezers. Most areas of the body can be treated with electrolysis, including the eyebrows, face, abdomen, thighs, breasts, and legs.

Permanent Makeup

Permanent makeup, also known as micropigmentation or cosmetic tattooing, is a cosmetic technique that uses dye or pigment that is permanently injected into the skin to resemble makeup or conceal imperfections. Permanent makeup can improve a person's appearance in a variety of ways, that may include:

  • Enhancing features such as the eyebrow, eyelashes and lip
  • Concealing scars or blemishes
  • Camouflaging areas of uneven pigmentation

All of these enhancements can be accomplished without the need for daily makeup applications. This procedure is FDA-approved and produces successful results for a wide range of cosmetic goals. Permanent makeup is quickly becoming a popular, convenient treatment for patients with minor cosmetic concerns. In some cases, permanent makeup is used to improve the appearance of a nipple after breast reconstruction. The results of this procedure are long-lasting and any fading can be addressed with with minor touch-up treatments.
