Microdermabrasion, Jan Marini Glycolic Facial Peels
Age, sun, diet and the environment are a few factors that lead to skin deterioration on the face and other parts of the body. Now with Dermaglow® Microdermabrasion particle skin exfoliation technology, there is a safe and gentle way to help rejuvenate, smooth and repair your skin. This form of Microdermabrasion has been adopted as the treatment of choice in the United States, making it the most requested non-surgical procedure.
Dermaglow® Microdermabrasion delivers a controlled stream of micro crystals over the skin through a special hand piece. By gently polishing the skin and removing dead skin cells, oils and other buildup, it is possible to improve many skin conditions and the imperfections that lead to premature aging.

Risks / Side Effects
Complications from medical grade peels are rare. Be sure to provide your medical skin care professional with a full medical history at your initial consultation. Carefully follow any instructions provided for you, and report persistent redness, irritation, or discomfort immediately.
Immediately following a glycolic peel skin may appear frosted and or sunburned, with the potential for increased redness over several hours. Skin may feel dry and tight; and mild itching may occur in the first 24 hours. Significant flaking and peeling can occur during the first few days post treatment, and may continue for an additional 2 to 5 days. Once peeling has finished, makeup can be applied over your sun protection. An SPF of at least 30 or higher is recommended.
