RESTYLANE® HYALURONIC ACID FILLERS
The Restylane® line of products is formulated to act like your body's own naturally occurring hyaluronic acid, restoring volume to your skin. The Restylane® line smooths away facial wrinkles and folds, provides subtle lip enhancement, smooths the lines around the mouth, adds lift and volume to the cheeks, and helps reverse the signs of volume loss in the back of the hands. Created with the innovative NASHA technology that gives each product a unique particle size for tailored treatments and the XpresHAn technology that allows the gels to have more flexibility to show your natural range of facial expression. The Restylane ®family of products includes Restylane®, Restylane-L®, Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine, Restylane® Silk, Restylane® Refyne, Restylane® Defyne, and Restylane® Kysse. One significant advantage that Restylane injectable gel has over other facial fillers made with hyaluronic acid is that it contains nothing of animal origin. As a result, it does not require a potential user to undergo allergy testing, which can sometimes take weeks.
RESTYLANE® HYALURONIC ACID FILLER Procedure
The injection itself usually takes approximately 30 minutes. Although anesthesia is not required, a topical anesthesia will be used to numb the treatment area, Restylane® Hyaluronic filler also contains an anesthetic called lidocaine to help reduce discomfort. Restylane® Hyaluronic filler will be injected to plump the skin beneath lines and wrinkles, smoothing them out and making them less noticeable. After the injection, Dr. Conkright’s professional staff may gently massage the treated area or provide you with ice packs to help reduce temporary bruising, redness, swelling, and/or itching at the treatment sites. There is minimal recovery time with Restylane® Hyaluronic filler. Dr. Conkright’s professional staff will inform you when makeup can be applied after your treatment.

Risk / side Effects of RESTYLANE® HYALURONIC ACID FILLER
The most common side effects of Restylane® Hyaluronic filler are swelling, redness, pain, bruising and tenderness in and around the injection sites. They typically go away within a week. For the first 24 hours following treatment, you should avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun or heat exposure, and consumption of alcohol in order to help minimize risks. Although considered safe for most patients, Restylane® Hyaluronic filler injections carry a risk of infection, bleeding or allergic reaction.

When injected, Restylane® Hyaluronic filler plumps up glabellar lines and nasolabial folds, making skin appear younger and look smoother. When used for lip enhancement, it makes the lips fuller and gives them more definition.
